Schulenburg Volleyball Team Honored for Academic Excellence

The Schulenburg Lady Horn Volleyball Team is proud to announce that they are a recipient of the 20232024 American Volleyball Coaches Association (AVCA) Team Academic Award. It is the 11th consecutive year that the Lady Horns have received the award.

Team members include: Kieryn Adams, Angel Davis, Reagan Dusek, Jessalyn Gipson, Avery Helms, Madison Kunschick, Clara Magliolo, Meredith Magliolo, Emmrie Marx, Kelly Netro, Brooke Redding, Grace Schramek, Keaton Walker, and Landry Zapalac 507 High School Teams from across the United States of America received recognition. 46 Teams were from Texas.

The Lady Horns also received the AVCA Team Academic Award Honor Roll for the 5th consecutive year.

This designation is for High School Teams that were in the Top 20% in the United States based on their Team Cumulative GPA 170 Teams in the United States of America received recognition. 24 Teams were from Texas.

The Lady Horns overall cumulative team GPA for 2023-2024 was 96.569
