Schulenburg Golfers Headed to State

The Schulenburg golf team qualified for the state tournament after placing third at the regional tournament this week in Corpus Christi.

The Shorthorns shot a two-day 708. Mason won the tourney with a 677. Runnerup San Saba shot a 697 and Woodsboro was right on the Shorthorns’ heels with a 714.

Schulenburgs individual scores are as follows: Reid Janda 80-77 –157 Brycen Schramek 87-81 –168 Jackson Faith 92-100 –192 Van Prihoda 116-98 –214 Jayse Janda 101- 92–193 The team is coached by Richard Hoogendoorn.
