Schulenburg, Flatonia Athletes Regional-Bound

At the 27/28-2AArea Meet in Thrall Thursday, several Schulenburg and Flatonia athletes punched their ticket to the regional meet by finishing in the top four of their events.

Fayette County area champs included Schulenburg’s Meredith Magliolo in the high jump, Flatonia’s Zachary Charanza in the discus and Flatonia’s Kobe Burton in the shot put.

The Schulenburg girls were third out of the 12 teams in the team standings.
