Schulenburg Defeats Smithville in Five-Set Thriller; RTC Beats Burton

The Schulenburg volleyball team defeated Smithville Tuesday 20-25, 25-15, 14-25, 25-11, 15-12.

Landry Zapalac had 48 assists, three aces and 17 digs.

Avery Helms had four aces and 17 digs. Emmrie Marx had 19 kills. Haylee Vacek had 18 kills and 23 digs. Michaela Kollmann had 22 digs. Reagan Dusek had 11 kills. The Lady Horns are now 20-9 overall.

The La Grange volleyball team went on the road Tuesday and lost to Cuero in three sets.

Fayetteville

The Fayetteville volleyball team lost to Weimar Tuesday 25-11, 25-7, 25-20.

Lainey Gromaski and Tara Vitek had five kills each and Cambree Denham had three.

Emily Keilers had 14 digs and Scott Beseda had 10.

Beseda had 16 assists.

The Lady Lions fell to 17-8 with the loss.

The Round Top-Carmine volleyball team defeated Burton in four sets Tuesday 25-21, 17-25, 27-25, 25-21. The Cubettes are now 14-14 overall.
