Schulenburg Beats Flatonia in Softball

The Schulenburg softball team defeated Flatonia 14-4 in district action Tuesday.

Kinley Tillery of the Lady Horns threw a complete game four-hitter.

Summer Livingston hit a home run. Grace Schramek had four hits and Haylie Goode and Tillery each had three hits for the Lady Horns.

For Flatonia, pitcher Jalee Trussell struck out nine. Trussell, Bishop and Sadie Noska all had three hits for the Lady Bulldogs.

The victory improved the Lady Horns to 2-2 in district, while Flatonia is now also 2-2 in district.
