Tuesday the Schulenburg volleyball team beat Flatonia 25-22, 25-20, 27-25 to clinch a share of the District 27-2A title with Weimar. Both teams finished district play 8-2. The Lady Horns are 30-11 overall.
Emmrie Marx had a teamhigh 10 kills for Schulenburg. Haylee Vacek had nine kills and nine digs.
Reagan Dusek had eight kills. Clara Magliolo had three aces and eight kills.
Landry Zapalac had 34 assists and seven digs.
Michaela Kollman had 27 digs, Madison Kunschick had 12 and Avery Helms had 11.
