LHS’s Guevera 8th at State

La Grange’s Erick Guevara had a strong performance at the Boys State Powerlifting Meet in Abilene last week. He competed in the 242-pound weight class and placed 8th overall in the state, setting personal records in all three lifts – Squat: 650 lbs, Bench Press: 415 lbs, Deadlift: 530 lbs for a total lift of 1,595 lbs. “It was an incredible achievement and a testament to his hard work and dedication,” said head powerlifting coach Charles Otto.
