LHS Updates: Softball Rolling

The La Grange girls softball team has turned around their overall record in a hurry after winning all six games they played at the Seguin Tournament last week. The Lady Leps beat Harlingen 10-3, Andrews 12-3, Uvalde 113, Roma 13-1, Laredo United 8-6 and Incarnate Word 4-3.

The Lady Leps are now 8-10 overall and are off until beginning district play March 11 at Manor New Tech.

LG Baseball

The La Grange varsity baseball team split four games at the Glen Rose baseball tournament over the weekend, beating Whitney and Tolar, but falling to Decatur and Godley. The Leps are 3-5 overall and play versus Liberty Tuesday at Constellation Field in Sugarland, the Triple-A stadium of the Houston Astros, at 5:30 p.m.

LG Girls Soccer

The La Grange girls soccer team grabbed a big 2-1 district win Friday against Taylor Friday as the Lady Leps kept their playoff hopes alive and improved to 4-6 in district play. They play at Rockdale Tuesday.

LG Boys Soccer

After blasting Caldwell 9-0 Wednesday, the LG boys soccer team lost at Taylor Friday 2-0 to fall to 4-6 in district play. The Leps play at Rockdale Tuesday.
