LHS Shines at Bellville Track Meet

The La Grange track team competed at Bellville’s Archie Seals Relays last week. Here’s the medalist winners from LHS:

• Quade Brothers and Cole Collier placed first and second respectively in the boys pole vault, clearing 13 and 12 feet. In the girls pole vault Campbell Cooper was second, clearing 9-6.

• Diamond McKenzie won the 400 meters in a time of 1:03.11

• Chris Supak placed second in the 110 hurdles with a time of 16.84

• Macie Collier was second and Campbell Cooper third in the girls 100 meter hurdles.

• Macie Collier won the 300 hurdles in a time of 45.92

• The La Grange 4x200 relay team of Dwodney Thompson, Garland Hart, Jerimiah Ferguson and Aldo Hernandez was third with a time of 1:34.27

• The La Grange 4x400 relay team of Abbot Acosta, Rogan Mihatsch, Van Hill and Aldo Hernandez was third with a time of 3:44.27

• The Lady Leps 4x400 relay team of Diamond McKenzie, Kyndal Brawley, London Broussard and Macie Collier was third in a time of 4:20.93.

• Kylin Brawley was second and Ashtyn Smith third in the shot put with throws of 32-3 and 31-4, respectively.

• Jace Baptiste was third in the long jump (15-11) and third in the triple jump (336.75).
