LHS Loses Soccer District Openers

The La Grange soccer teams had their district openers Tuesday and both teams lost to Taylor.
At home, the Lady Leps fell to the Lady Ducks 6-0.
On the road the La Grange boys lost to Taylor 2-0.
Despite the loss La Grange head coach Lauren Hubbert said she saw some good things from her girls, who fell to 2-7 overall with the loss.
“After every game we try to talk about three good things. Our communication has improved leaps and bounds ... We’ve been trying to style our play to connect passes and work our wings in the wide angle of the sidelines, and we are seeing improvements in that area ... and finally we’re hustling. I feel like compared to last year our hustle is a little better,” Hubbert said. “It’s just going to take some time.”
The Lady Leps host Cameron Friday at 5:15 p.m. followed by the boys game versus Cameron at 7:15 p.m.
