LHS Cheerleaders Compete at State

The LHS Cheerleaders competed at the UIL State Spirit Competition in Fort Worth on Friday morning.
“
This is the first time our school has had a team compete in this competition. We compete in the 4A division which is one of the largest and the girls placed in the top half,” said Cheerleader coach Kamdyn Dandignac. “We placed 29th for band chant, 23rd in fight song and 49th in crowd leading out of 61 teams. These girls have been working on this routine along with balancing fall and the start of spring athletics. It was such a fun experience and we can’t wait for next year.”
