LHS Basketball Splits at Manor

The La Grange girls closed out their regular season with a win in Manor Tuesday while the Leopard boys saw their 15-game win streak snapped.

The Lady Leps defeated Manor New Tech 49-11 led by a 19-point night from Kylie Trlicek and a 17-point performance from Campbell Cooper.

The victory improves the Lady Leps to 20-10 overall and 10-2 in district as they prepare for a first round playoff match in Waller Monday against Houston Washington (time to be determined) Meanwhile the La Grange boys lost their first district game of the season at Manor New Tech Tuesday, falling 7068 to fall to 24-9 overall and 10-1 in district.

The Leps have already clinched the district title and host Smithville Tuesday at 7:30 p.m. before heading to the postseason.
