LGISD Students Selected For All-Region Band

High School and Middle School All-Region Band Concerts took place in Bastrop on Saturday, Jan. 18 and 25, respectively, at the Jerry Fay Wilhelm Performing Arts Center. For both campuses, La Grange had more students represented than any other school in the Region. Region Band members met in Bastrop to rehearse with other top student musicians from other campuses. They rehearsed Friday evening and Saturday morning, with the concerts taking place Saturday evening. This was an incredible opportunity for these top band students as they got to meet and play with students from other schools, and perform music they would not otherwise have the opportunity to learn.
