The La Grange girls soccer team ended its season with a penalty kick loss at home to Smithville Friday. Florencia Barron scored the lone goal for the Lady Leps in regulation before Smithville prevailed 6-5 in extra kicks. The Lady Leps finished district in fifth place and will miss the postseason.
The La Grange boys soccer team ended its season with a penalty kick victory over Smithville Friday after the game was tied 1-1 at the end of regulation. Gage Mihatsch scored the regulation goal for the Leps, who finished their season with a 5-7 district mark and in fifth place, just missing the postseason.
