Leps Scrimmage in El Campo

The La Grange football team got to hit someone other than themselves for the first time Friday as they travelled to El Campo for a scrimmage against the Ricebirds. The Leps play their second, and final, preseason scrimmage this Thursday at Leopard Stadium against Franklin. The JV and Freshman will start at 5 p.m with the varsities beginning about 6:30 p.m. Franklin went all the way to the 3A state title game last year before losing to Malakoff 14-7. Franklin has made it to four state title games in a row, winning it all in 2021 and 2022.
