La Grange’s Nate Scott scored a team-high 23 in Tuesday’s victory.
The La Grange boys basketball team closed out its regular season with a 72-35 home victory over Smithville Tuesday.
The Leps have a 25-9 overall record and a 11-1 mark in district, winning the 22-4A district title by two games over Manor New Tech and Caldwell.
Nate Scott scored 23 points for the Leps and Jhase Scott had 16.
The Leps now turn their attention to the playoffs where they will face a still-to-be-determined Houston ISD team Monday, Feb. 19 at 5:30 p.m. at Katy’s Merrell Center.
