Leps Fall by 15

The district champ La Grange boys saw their ninegame win streak snapped Tuesday at Bellville in the regular season finale. Playoffs begin next week, details to be determined.

Bellville boys 56, LG 41 LG scoring: Oliver Gunn 9, Clayton Cooper 2, Conner Brooks 5, Cordale Knapik 7, Camden Coltrain 2, Brandon Mathis 16. Record: Leps are 23-9 and 9-1 in district.

Bulldogs Win

The Flatonia boys basketball team beat Bloomington Tuesday 70-57. Leading scorers were Kade Giese 29, Keegan Green 14 and Jaylon Anderson 14. With the win Flatonia shares the district title with Shiner. Next game will be bidistrict vs. Holland Tues. Feb. 18 at 7:30 at Giddings.
