Leps Compete at State 7-on-7 Football Tourney

The La Grange 7-on-7 football team competed at the state tournament in College Station last week. Initially the Leps fell one game short of qualifying for state but were able to get an invitation after Hereford was unable to make the trip. The Leps competed in pool play Thursday and Friday beating Brookshire 34-6, losing to Austin LBJ 13-12 and losing to Alvarado 28-14.

That placed the Leps into the single elimination championship bracket Friday where they lost to Frisco Panther Creek 20-6.
