La Grange swimmers Braxton, Dalton, and Quinlynn Landis are not only all siblings on the swim team, they’ve contributed heavily to a positive year for the Leps. Their consistent production earned them very high praises from head coach Gretchen Ledwik.

“One thing I like to pride myself on is the fact that these three will swim anything I ask them to swim,” said Ledwik. “I usually work with my swimmers on what they want to swim, but this year, I asked Quinlynn to swim the 200, which is one of the toughest events, and she said, ‘Sure,’ just right off the bat. They’re always at practice willing to do exactly what they need to do to help the team. They are all team players and that’s what makes them amazing.”

These siblings’ ability to be coachable and put up solid results while doing it has made them our selection for this edition’s Athlete of the Week.
