Lady Leps Softball Pounds Manor New Tech 27-0

The La Granger softball team pounded Manor New Tech 27-0 in their district opener last week on the road.

Avery Marshall hit a pair of homers, including a grand slam. Melissa Gonzales also homered for La Grange, which is now 9-10 overall and 1-0 in district.

Marissa Gonzales and Rielynn Hall combined on a threeinning no-hitter. The game was called after three innings because of the mercy rule. The Lady Leps play at Smithville Tuesday.
