The La Grange volleyball team pulled off a thrilling victory over Giddings Tuesday as the Lady Leps staged comebacks in all three sets they won.
No comeback was more dramatic than when La Grange trailed Giddings 2412 and rallied to win 27-25 after Kyla Colon served 12 straight points.
Giddings won the second set 17-25 before La Grange won the final two sets 25-23, 26-24. La Grange stats leaders included: Kill Leaders: Carley Ulrich - 14, Brion Williams - 9, Avery Griffin - 8.
Dig Leaders: Carley Ulrich - 22, Kylie Trlicek - 17, Ashtyn Smith - 11 Ace Leaders: Carley Ulrich - 2, Ashtyn Smith - 2, Kyla Colon - 2 Assist Leaders: Kylie Trlicek - 35 Block Leaders: Brion Williams - 2 The Lady Leps are now 4-4 in district play and can clinch a playoff berth with a win Friday at home against Caldwell in a match that begins at 5 p.m.
Fayetteville
The Fayetteville volleyball team beat Waelder 25-12, 25-5, 25-16 Tuesday as the Lady Lions improved to 2510 overall and 4-1 in district. Cambree Denham and Scotti Beseda led the Lady Lions in kills with four each. Tara Vitek had eight aces and Emily Keilers and Devynn Moeckel each had four. Keilers led the team in digs and Beseda had a team-high nine assists.

The Round Top-Carmine volleyball team beat Prarie Lea Tuesday 25-6, 25-2, 25-7 as the Cubettes improved to 21-18 overall and 4-0 in district. RTC stat leaders included: Madison Markwardt 4 kills, 2 digs, 21 assists, 9 aces; Tess Eilers 7 kills, 1 dig, 4 aces; Bree Dooley 6 kills, 4 aces; Jessica Rohde 6 kills, 1 dig, 1 assist, 2 aces; Makayla Smith 1 kill, 1 dig, 1 assist, 3 aces; Reagan Williams 2 kills, 1 solo block; Alin Soto 1 kill, 6 aces; Hayden Kasmiersky 1 assist.

The Schulenburg volleyball team defeated Weimar Tuesday 25-21, 14-25, 25-23, 15-25, 15-10 to improve to 28-11 overall and 6-2 in district.
Landry Zapalac had 52 assists and 11 digs. Emmrie Marx had 31 kills. Haylee Vacek had 21 kills and 23 digs.
Avery Helms had five assists and 23 digs. Michaela Kollman had 15 digs and Madison Kunschick had nine digs.
