Lady Leps Cap Off Resurgent Week With 5-Set Win Over Schulenburg

What a week for the La Grange volleyball team.
On the heels of getting revenge Tuesday on a Bastrop team that had beaten them earlier in the year, the Lady Leps kept the momentum going and beat state-ranked Schulenburg 21-25, 25-22, 19-25, 25-19, 15-12 Friday.
The suddenly surging Lady Leps are now 8-20 overall and play at Cuero Tuesday.

La Grange Flex defeated Schulenburg 25-12, 21-25, 151; Overall record 7-4 In Friday’s match, Schulenburg got 52 assists from Landry Zapalac. She also had 14 digs.
Emmrie Marx had 21 kills. Haylee Vacek had 15 kills and 20 digs.
Reagan Dusek had nine kills. Clara Magliolo had five aces and five kills.
Michaela Kollmann had 33 digs. Madison Kunschick had 14 digs.
The Lady Horns fell to 19-9 with the loss.
The Fayetteville volleyball team defeated McDade 25-16, 25-10, 23-25, 20-25, 15-8 Friday.
Lainey Gromaski had 11 kills and Tara Vitek had nine. Aubree Graeter, Scotti Beseda and Cambree Denham each had four kills.
Emily Keilers had six aces and 20 digs.
Devynn Moeckel and Beseda each had 12 digs Beseda had 28 assists. The Lady Lions are now 17-7 overall.

Friday the Flatonia volleyball team defeated the visiting Round Top-Carmine Cubettes 21-25, 26-24, 25-16, 25-17.
