The Lady Leps 28-Year Streak of Making the Softball Playoffs Ends

The La Grange softball team got two much needed wins last week to force a playoff tiebreaker game Monday. But the magic ran out for the Lady Leps Monday in Navasota as they lost to Caldwell 16-7. The Lady Hornets grab the final playoff spot out of District 22-4A. The loss ends a 28-year streak of making it to the playoffs by the Lady Leps.

Iylah King, Haedyn Cooper and Brion Williams all had two hits in Monday’s game. Kylin Brawley drove in three runs.

The Lady Leps end their season with a 15-13-1 record and a 4-6 mark in district.
