La Grange vs. Caldwell

When: 7:30 p.m. Friday Where: La Grange Records: La Grange is 4-3 overall and 0-2 in district. Caldwell is 2-5 overall and 0-2 in district.

Of Note: It’s homecoming, and do-or-die time for the La Grange football team after back-to-back district losses have left the Leps fighting for their playoff lives. The Leps are coming off a 63-20 loss to Bellville in which La Grange allowed 562 rushing yards. Caldwell, meanwhile, is coming off a 56-14 loss to Madisonville. The Hornets’ only two victories this season have come against Crockett and Smithville, but they have lost three in a row, allowing more than 50 points in each of those games.

Last meeting: La Grange blasted Caldwell 53-21 last season as Le’Kayvion Broussard ran for four touchdowns.
