La Grange Track Team Keeps Winning

The La Grange boys and girls track teams both won team titles at the seven-team Columbus Cardinal Relays March 6.

The Leps had 224 points, well ahead of second place Columbus, which had 130 points. The La Grange girls had 210 points, ahead of second place Weimar, which had 144.5 points.

La Grange boys individual champs included:

Jaxon Ford won the 100 meters with a time of 11.14.

Jordyn Murray won the 400 meters in a time of 53.34. Chris Supak won the 110 meter hurdles with a time of 15.86. Abbot Acosta won the 800 meters with a time of 2;17.49 Clayton Cooper win the 300 hurdles with a time of 43.01. The La Grange 4x400 meter relay team of Jordyn Murray, Traiton Broussard, Tre Supak and Caleb Norwood won with a time of 3:38.54.

Dalton Landis won the shot put with a distance of 39-9.5 feet and the discus with a distance of 128-11 feet.

Cordale Knapik won the pole vault with a clearance of 13-0 feet.

La Grange girls individual champs included:

Landri Hernandez won the 400 meter dash with a time of 1:02.67.

Macie Collier won the 100 meter hurdles with a time of 16.18, and she also won the 300 meter hurdles with a time of 48.37.

The La Grange girls 4x400 relay team ofAvery Griffin, Diamond McKenzie, Landri Hernandez and Macie Collier won with a time of 4:12.43.

The La Grange 4x200 relay team of Avery Griffin, Carley Ulrich, Campbell Cooper and Kylie Trlicek won with a time of 1:51.98.
