The La Grange baseball team evened its record at 7-7 overall and 1-1 in district with a 4-2 win over Bellville at home Tuesday.
La Grange’s Ty Stark pitched a complete game five-hitter with seven strikeouts.
Stark also hit a double and scored one.
Kyler Lamza had a hit, run and RBI.
Hunter Sabo had a hit and run, and Holdyn Cooper scored a run.
The Leps are schedule to play Giddings at home Saturday at 1:30 p.m.
Gonzales HRs as LG Girls Win 13-3
The La Grange softball team bashed Bellville 13-3 at home Tuesday.
Freshman Brooke Ulrich pitched a complete game fivehitter.
Melissa Gonzalez homered for the Lady Leps and Iylah King tripled.
Landri Hernandez and Ashtyn Smith each had two hits. Brion Williams had two RBIs and scored twice.
The Lady Leps (now 12-7) play Giddings Saturday.
