La Grange Smashes Lady Hornets 51-17

Freshman Campbell Cooper scored 27 points to lead the Lady Leps to a 51-17 trashing of Caldwell Tuesday afternoon in La Grange.

The La Grange girls led 16-7 after the first quarter and never looked back. Kylie Trlicek scored six points Tuesday on the heels of her all-tournament selection last week at the Weimar Christmas Classic. That was the third consecutive all-tournament selection of the season for Trlicek, a sophomore. The Lady Leps are now 2-1 in district play and 12-9 overall as they prepare to host Austin Achieve Friday at 5:30 p.m.
