La Grange Intermediate Wins Little League Sectional Title

The La Grange Intermediate Little League All-Stars won the Section 1 Championship Wednesday night defeating Bryan Harvey 8-1 to take the series two games to one. In the clinching game, the winning pitcher was Luke Behnke, who hurled 6.1 innings of one-run ball, allowing just two hits and striking out 10. Shepherd Gunn scored three runs, hit a homer and drove in four runs. La Grange advances to Texas East State Tournament in Rosenberg on July 6. Team members include Luke Behnke, Tanner Finch, Shepherd Gunn, Aiden Harbers, Chase Havel, Collin Horton, Candyn Janca, Brayden Johnson, Ethan Keilers, Ryder Klesel, Graham Adams and Teague Weinert.
