La Grange High School hosted a state-qualifying 7-on-7 state tournament Saturday at Leopard Stadium. Bay City earned the state berth by winning the tourney and Bay City also won the lineman challenge. La Grange beat Lago Vista and Taylor. 7-on-7 is a fast-paced passing-only brand of football for varsity players in the offseason. Here are the scores: Pool A
