La Grange Golf Teams Compete at District

The La Grange boys golfers placed 2nd as a team at the district meet this week and are advancing to regionals. Led by senior Braxton Dahse who placed 3rd overall shooting an 82 on the 1st day followed up by 79 on the final day. Other teammates who qualified on the varsity team were: senior Gavin Hollek, junior Collin Muesse, freshman Grady Kocian, and freshman Cohen Conard. Boys team totals were: Day 1: 340 and Day 2: 335 for a 2-day total of 675. The boys team will be in action April 16-17 at Sam Houston State Universities Golf Course (Bearkat Golf Club) in Huntsville for the Regional Tournament. The La Grange girls golf team placed 7th at district led by senior Addy Maass who shot 110/98. Other members on the Lady Lep golf team Ella Janacek, Clara Bundick, Shelby Burnett, and Jaley Stork all juniors. Girls team totals were: Day 1: 481 and Day 2: 467 with a two-day total of 948.
