Jobb Wins District Volleyball MVP and Trlicek Setter of Year

The 22-4A all-district volleyball team has been announced and several La Grange players earned awards.

The District 22-4A Overall Co-MVP is La Grange senior Jena Jobb.

Switching positions midway through this season, Jobb moved from libero to playing six rotations and tallied 99 kills, 401 digs, 86 assists and 90 aces.

La Grange sophomore Kylie Trlicek was awarded Setter Co-MVP for the 2023 season. She had 464 assists, 307 kills, 357 digs & 66 aces this year.

1st Team All-District honorees are seniors Haylie Cooper and Phoebe Tucker and sophomore Carley Ulrich.

Seniors Mara Colon and Tori Harold earned District 224A Second Team honors.

Junior Cara Homer and freshmen Kenna Lamza were named to the District 22-4A Honorable Mention team.

The 22-4A academic alldistrict honorees from La Grange were Teagan Branch, Shelby Burnett, Mara Colon, Haylie Cooper, Lyndie Edson, Tori Harold, Landri Hernandez, Kaylee Holmes, Jena Jobb, Kylie Trlicek, Phoebe Tucker and Carley Ulrich.

Texas High School Girls Coaches Association Academic All-State honorees from La Grange included Teagan Branch, Mara Colon, Haylie Cooper, Lyndie Edson, Tori Harold, Jena Jobb and Phoebe Tucker.
