Jazzmin Coleman of LHS Places 4th at State Powerlifting

La Grange High School senior Jazzmin Coleman capped off an outstanding powerlifting career with an impressive performance at the THSWPA State Powerlifting Championships Friday in Edinburgh.

Competing in the highly competitive 165-pound weight class, Coleman placed 4th in the state, showcasing her strength and determination on the biggest stage.

She posted the following lifts: Squat: 365 lbs Bench Press: 215 lbs Deadlift: 325 lbs Total: 905 lbs “Coleman’s performance highlights years of dedication and hard work, finishing her senior season among the best lifters in Texas,” said powerlifting coach Charles Otto. “Her accomplishment marks a proud moment for La Grange High School and its powerlifting program.”
