Herzik Headed to State Tennis

Schulenburg’s Caden Herzik is headed to the 2A State Tennis Tournament after finishing as the Region IV-2A boys singles runner-up at the regional tournament in Corpus Christi last week. Herzik marched to the regional final by beating players from Brackett, Mumford and Port Aransas before falling to Ma son’s Russell Watson in the title match. Herzik will play at state May 7 at the Blossom Tennis Center in San Antonio.
