Gardiner Collects $400 in Winnings

La Grange’s Randy Gardiner was the winner of last week’s football pick-it contest sponsored by Farmers Lumber Company. Gardiner, right, is shown here collecting his check for $400 from Walt Jackson of Farmers, left. The contest ballot appears in every Tuesday issue of The Record during football season and to win you just have to correctly predict all 10 winners in that week’s games. Gardiner has been playing faithfully for two years, but this is his first time to win. Earlier this year he lost out on a tiebreaker during the week several folks got all 10 games right.
