Flatonia’s Huge Third Quarter Sinks Louise

The Flatonia football team rallied from a halftime deficit and used a huge third quarter to blast Louise 33-6 in the season opener for both teams Friday.
Flatonia quarterback Beck Zimmerman threw for three touchdowns in that decisive third quarter, two to Kade Geise and one to Keegan Green.
Green later added a fourth quarter touchdown run of 41 yards to really put the game out of reach.
The Flatonia defense limited Louise to just 101 total yards of offense, and also forced three fumbles.
The victory was head coach Brent Mascheck’s 99th career win as a head coach.
Flatonia plays its home opener this Friday as they host Hallettsville Sacred Heart, which lost to Schulenburg 35-0 Friday.
