Flatonia vs. Kenedy

When: 7:30 p.m. Friday Where: Ganado Records: Flatonia is 1-6 overall and 0-3 in district. Kenedy is 4-4 overall and 2-2 in district.

Of Note: The Bulldogs will try again to snap their losing streak, which has now stretched to six games. Flatonia was off last week while Kenedy slammed Danbury 42-7 for their second consecutive victory. One more win probably gets Kenedy into the playoffs. Two weeks ago Flatonia came oh-so-close to snapping their losing streak but fell to Danbury 12-10. Defense wasn’t a problem for the Bulldogs in that game but it has been much of the season. Flatonia is allowing nearly 40 points a game on average. Seniors Beck Zimmerman, Keegan Green and Kade Giese have proved to be formidable weapons for the Bulldogs this season offensively.
