Flatonia Teams Fall in the Playoffs

The Flatonia girls basketball season came to an end Friday in the state quarterfinals in a 65-46 loss to San Saba.

Flatonia trailed by just one at halftime, but San Saba dominated the second half.

Flatonia ends its season with a 29-5 overall record. San Saba (31-6) now advances to face LaPoynor in the state semifinals.

On Thursday the Flatonia boys basketball season came to an end as the Bulldogs lost 78-46 to Hearne. The Bulldogs end their season with a 18-14 record. They were codistrict and bi-district champs.
