Flatonia Keeps Rolling

Last Thursday, the Flatonia Bulldogs hosted Shiner and came away with a 4-2 victory.

Titan Targac pitched a gem of a ballgame. He pitched a complete game four hitter and gave up two runs with one walk and had thirteen K’s.

Henri Vincik had a great night at the plate for Flatonia. He knocked in two RBI’s, while going 3-4. Beck Zimmerman went 2-2 with a double, and scored two runs. Targac had a single and a sac fly RBI. The win put Flatonia in tie with Ganado for first place in district after the first round of play. Both teams were 6-1.

Tuesday Flatonia beat Blooomington 21-1 to improve to 7-1 in district.
