Flatonia’s defense works to slow down the Kenedy offense in Friday night’s district game.
The Flatonia football team lost to Kenedy Friday 21-17 as the Bulldogs fell to 1-7 overall and 0-4 in district.
The loss officially eliminated the Bulldogs from playoff contention.
Flatonia’s scoring came on a 15-yard touchdown run by Beck Zimmerman, a eight-yard touchdown pass from Zimmerman to Koren Scott and a field goal from Josemaria Garcia.
Flatonia was outgained in total yards 231 to 184.
The Bulldogs play Weimar this Friday and then finish out their regular season by hosting Schulenburg Nov 8.
