Flatonia Boys and Girls Both Advance In Hoops Playoffs

It was a big Day Tuesday for Flatonia as both their boys and girls basketball teams won playoff games.

The Lady Bulldogs won a third round game 68-38 over Johnson City to advance to the state quarterfinals.

The Lady Bulldogs will take on San Saba Friday at 6:30 p.m. at Georgetown Eastview High School.

Meanwhile, Tuesday in Giddings, the Flatonia boys beat Holland 57-43. The Bulldogs play Hearne in the area round Thursday at 6:30 p.m. back in Giddings.
