Fayetteville Sweeps Flatonia In a Baseball Doubleheader

The Fayetteville baseball team won their first two games of the season Tuesday, sweeping Flatonia in a doubleheader 8-2 and 13-1.

In the 8-2 win, Jack Schley pitched a complete game four hitter for the Lions, with six strikeouts. The Lions cranked out seven hits, including two by Slade Cejka.

In the 13-1 win, Kandon Kaspar pitched a complete game two-hitter with seven strikeouts. Jason Halfmann and Schley has three hits, including doubles. Cejka had two hits and Enoch Loafman doubled. The Lions are now 2-3 overall.
