The Fayetteville boys dominated Lasara Friday 100-42 in a second round 1A playoff basketball game in Goliad.
Jack Schley scored 25 to lead the Lions. Easton Jaeger scored 17. Mason Fenhaus and Chance Konvicka each had 12. Kasen Kocian scored 11, Enich Loafman 9, Kole Schmitt 5, Lawson Fritch 4, Joason Halfmann 3, and Brody Dooley 2.
The Lions are now 26-8 overall and advance to face Wells (29-6) at 6 p.m. Tuesday in Madisonville.
The winner faces the Brookeland/McMullen County victor in the state quarterfinals.
