The Fayetteville boys basketball team marched into the fourth round of the 1A playoffs with a 45-41 comefrom- behind victory over Moulton Tuesday.
The Lions trailed by 12 points after the first quarter but climbed back into the game thanks to their defense, and they finally won it by outscoring Moulton by 10 points in the fourth quarter.
Easton Jaeger led the Lions in scoring with 10 points. Keagan Supak had nine and Brody Dooley scored all seven of his points in the fourth quarter.
The Lions now have a 30-5 record and advance to the regional semifinals Friday at 7:30 p.m. in Austin’s Burger Center where they will face Wells. If they win that game they will play at noon Saturday back in Austin against the Brookeland/ Rocksprings victor in the regional finals.
