Fayette County Diamond Round-Up

The Flatonia softball team lost to Weimar Friday 11-2.

Jalee Trussell and Emma Kosler each had two hits. Trussell pitched a complete game.

The Lady Bulldogs will be back in action Tuesday night in Flatonia vs. Ganado to end the first round of district play.

Fayetteville

Baseball

Thrall beat the Fayetteville baseball team 8-5 Friday. Chance Konvicka and Lawson Fritsch hit doubles.

Dylan Henneke had two hits and an RBI.

Kandon Kaspar, Henneke and Easton Jaeger combined on the pitching for the Lions.

Kaspar allowed no earned runs in his 2.2 innings of work.

The Lions are now 4-2 overall.

RTC Baseball

After falling to Milano 12-1 Tuesday, the Round Top-Carmine baseball team lost to Milano again, 12-0 Friday.

The Cubs didn’t have any hits Friday.

Carter Marburger, Miles Neese and Caden Tovey combined on the pitching for the Cubs, who fell to 3-6 with the loss.

Flatonia Baseball

The Flatonia baseball team continued their dominant run through district play with a 7-0 win at Weimar Friday.

Titan Targac pitched a complete game shutout with 13 strikeouts.

Udi Manzano had three hits and two RBIs.

Henry Vincik had two hits, including a triple, and scored three.

Beck Zimmerman had two hits and two RBIs.

The Bulldogs are 4-0 in district and 9-3-1 overall.

Schulenburg

Baseball

The Schulenburg baseball team beat Bloomington 12-2 Friday.

Jayse Janda, Brycen Schramek, Owen Brenek and Nick Goode all had multi-hit games for the Shorthorns.

Brenek drove in four runs and Cooper Demel scored three times.

Goode pitched a complete game six-hitter with nine strikeouts.

The Shorthorns are 2-3 in district

Schulenburg

Softball

The Schulenburg softball team defeated Bloomington 17-2 Friday.

Summer Livingston had two hits and four RBIs for the Lady Horns.

Brenley Bujnoch and Perla Martinez also had two hits each. Jashiya Jackson scored three runs.

Bujnoch pitched a complete game one-hitter with four strikeouts.
