Faith Lutheran High School Falcons Shine at TAPPS State Track Meet

Faith Lutheran High School proudly celebrates the accomplishments of its student- athletes who competed at the TAPPS State Track Meet at Midway Stadium in Waco, Texas on Friday, May 8 and Saturday, May 9.

Leading the way for the Falcons was Elijah Kueck who earned an impressive 2nd place finish in the TAPPS 1A Boys Discus, bringing home a state silver medal. On the girls’ side, Kaylee Wolff competed in the 1600 meter (1 mile) amid extremely hot conditions and finished an outstanding 5th place in the state.

“We are incredibly proud of both of our state qualifiers,” said Jonathan Kueck, track coach. “Their commitment, sportsmanship, and effort throughout the season and at the state meet were a tremendous representation of our school and community.”
