    Faith Lutheran Archery Team Competes at State

The Faith Lutheran High School Archery Team qualified to participate in the NASP (National Archer in Schools Program) state archery tournament. This program is funded by the Texas Parks and Wildlife Department and provides international-style target archery training in 4th-12th grade physical education classes. The state tournament was Friday and Saturday, March 20 and 21 at the Freeman Coliseum in San Antonio. Faith Lutheran’s archery team of 12 archers qualified to compete. This event was the culmination of a wonderful season built on focus, discipline, and consistent improvement. There were over 2,500 archers that competed at this year’s state tournament, the largest one yet.
