Fabre and Swisher Break School Swim Records at Grapevine Meet

Eleven Swimmers from the La Grange High School Swim Team competed in the 4A TISCA North Texas Invitational in Grapevine, Texas on Dec. 1 and 2. Highlights from the meet include two school records broken and a first place finish in the finals.

Celeine Fabre broke her own school record in the prelims swimming a 1:06.35 in the 100 freestyle. Then she broke her own new record on Saturday in the finals swimming a 1:05.29. The old school record was 1:07.71. Ben Swisher broke the school record in the 200 Freestyle. He swam a 2:10.46 in the prelims breaking the old school record, which was set in 2013 of 2:24.85. Ben also placed first in the finals on Saturday in the 50 Freestyle swimming a 23.77.
