Dobbins Runner-Up for NFL Comeback Player of the Year

At the NFL Honors award show Thursday in New Orleans, La Grange native J.K. Dobbins was the runner-up in the NFL Comeback Player of the Year award. Bengals quarterback Joe Burrow won the award. Dobbins is shown here center, at Thursday’s award show, between his son (wearing a matching suit with J.K.) and his mom Mya Grounds of La Grange. Dobbins is now a free agent after signing a one-year $1.6 million dollar deal with the Chargers. He set a career-high in rushing yards (905) and tied his personal best in rushing touchdowns (9) after spending three injuryriddled seasons with the Ravens.
