Dobbins Ready To Be Spark for The Chargers
La Grange native and new Los Angeles Chargers running back J.K. Dobbins took the podium on Day 2 of Chargers Training Camp last week.
He signed a free agent contract with the Chargers in the offseason after playing for the Baltimore Ravens during his first three years in the NFL Two of those seasons were injury-filled.
Below are three takeaways from his media availability: “I feel like I’m in college out there right now,” Dobbins said Thursday.
“Myself, I know that I’ve been hurt. It’s not nothing I can control,” Dobbins said. “I feel like I’m a pretty tough guy. When I’m on the field, you have to pull me off.”
“I feel amazing,” Dobbins later added. “I feel like everything is slower. I missed a whole year, and everything is slower.”
“I feel great and I don’t think about it,” Dobbins said. “Me, I’m the type of guy like something bad happens, ‘Alright, that happened, let’s move on. I’m a second-bysecond guy.”
Dobbins later added: “I want to be a bully on that field, too. I want [teams] to know, ‘Oh we’re going against this guy.’”
