Diggs, Collier Win Double Golds as Leps Sweep Team Track Titles at Ganado Meet

The La Grange boys won the team title at the Ganado meet Feb. 22 with 92 points, edging runner-up Hallettsville by eight.

Lep senior Austen Diggs won the 100 meter dash in a time of 10.83 and the 200 meters in a time of 21.81. La Grange’s Jordyn Murray won the 400 in a time of 52.81. Julian Sherman won the 110 meter hurdles with a time of 16.25. Dalton Landis won the discus with a throw of 1314. The Leps 4x200 relay was second.

The La Grange girls also won the team title with 132 points, ahead of runner-up Industrial, which had 113.

Macie Collier won the 100 meter hurdles with a time of 17.78 and the 300 meter hurdles with a time of 49.66.

Avery Griffin accounted for 20 of La Grange’s points and Kylie Trlicek accounted for 19.

Lep Relays Thursday 

The 2024 Leopard Relays will be held in La Grange at Lep Stadium Thursday, Feb. 29.

Field events start at 3:45 p.m. The 3200 Meters starts at 4 p.m. and running events start at 5:45 p.m.
